Professional Biography

Dr. Rama R Iyer, Advocate, Managing Partner at Ayana Legal, has over 33 years of legal practice and has extensive experience in litigation as well as advisory. As a practicing advocate, she has appeared before various courts and fora including the Supreme Court of India in addition to different tribunals and Commissions. She heads and oversees various areas of law in the firm. She has been invited by the President of the International Court of Justice at The Hague for expert consultation on International Laws relating to women in the corporate sector. She was bestowed with the National Law Day award by the Indian Bar Association for work in the field of women's rights, and the Karnataka Women Achiever's Award for Excellence in Law in 2023.
